There is a lot of uncertainity in the world right now.  If your goal is to earn your HR credentials, keep going.  There is no better time than now to pursue your professional HR certification.  Southwest Montana SHRM looks forward to supporting you in your successful pursuit of your SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR.   If you are interested in participating in a self-study group please email the Southwest Montana SHRM Certification Chair at swmt.shrm.certification@gmail.com and you will be contacted when we have other interest and are able to offer some options.  Below you can find all of the information to help you determine which certification is right for you.

Mental Health Ally Certificate

Attention to the mental health and wellness of employees is crucial to employee retention, job satisfaction, productivity, and overall success. With a Psych Hub membership of $99 a year per person, you can attain a Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate (https://www.workplacementalhealth.shrm.org/certificate/). The certificate equips HR professionals and people managers to understand critical mental health topics and identify appropriate approaches to help. You can:

Participate in evidence-based training and shareable resources with content easily understandable by anyone, regardless of prior knowledge.

Gain actionable skills to help employees during difficult times.

Earn seven professional development credits (PDCs).

The certificate program was developed by Psych Hub, the world’s most comprehensive platform for mental health multimedia education, in partnership with SHRM and SHRM Foundation.

This Certificate is an introduction to the benefits and implementation of disability inclusion in the workplace. Earn 10PDCS toward your SHCM-CP or SHRM-SCP recertification.
